The Quality Intern will help implement/upgrade our quality data collection system along with other special projects relating to quality improvement activities.

Education / Training:
Qualifications, Experience, Education
• Skill Level II – Freshman – Senior;
• Currently enrolled in a technical college or higher education program in the area of expertise assigned;
• High level computer skills (data entry, Microsoft Excel, database knowledge, coding, scripts).

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analysis for help with problem solving;
• Train production employees with implemented plans;
• Other quality projects as needed;
• Able to work well with production and others team members consistently, accurately, and safely.
Qualifications and Experience:

• Usage of various gages (micrometer, dial bores, calipers, surface finish, etc).
Essential and Physical Activities Functions:
• Strength – Must be able to lift and carry up to 35lbs
• Motion – Constant walking; frequent and sustained bending, crouching, stooping, kneeling, squatting, overhead reaching and climbing ladders;
• Vision/Hearing Requirements – Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions and hear audible alarms;
• Metatarsal safety shoes are required as well as safety glasses.
